In the Pitztal ski area in Tyrol you can enjoy skiing from September to May thanks to the glacier's guaranteed snow. Thanks to the ski-technical connection between the Rifflsee ski area and the glacier ski area, we offer you 40 kilometers of slopes on perfectly groomed glacier natural snow slopes in winter.

The number of ski pass days depends on the length of your stay (nights).
Simply pick up a voucher from the tourist office and present it at the ticket office.
During the winter season, we will be offering Hochzeiger ski passes for 1-11 days at very attractive prices via our online shop.
The earlier guests book online, the cheaper the ski pass will be in the online shop. The later the booking, the higher the price in the online shop. At the mountain railway ticket office on site, the cash price/maximum price according to the price list always applies without exception.
From the end of August, Hochzeiger ski passes can be purchased in the online shop.
Please note that ski passes are issued on a personalised basis and are therefore non-transferable. It is therefore not possible to purchase large quantities of ski passes ‘in advance’.
The ‘Pitzi-Freipass’ (Bambini tickets) can also be booked and processed via the online ticket shop.
Please also note that for technical reasons, the first day of skiing for all tickets purchased in the Hochzeiger online shop must always be at Hochzeiger.
As a guesthouse we offer our guests ski depots right on the slopes.
For a small fee you can store your equipment in your own private locker right on the slopes, so you don't have to walk back to the guesthouse with all your equipment. During the night your equipment will be dried and disinfected so that everything is fresh and dry again the next morning.

This is a small impression of our glacier, located at the end of the valley. Reachable from us in half an hour by car or also by bus.
It is located right next to the Rifflsee ski area and can therefore be combined in one day. Start the day at Rifflsee and then make the downhill run to the glacier elevator and spend the afternoon on the glacier where there is also a really nice downhill run.
A cross-country track, fun park and downhill is also available here.
The Pitztal Glacier & Rifflsee ski area offers skiing fun from September to May thanks to the guaranteed snow and the altitude of the glacier. With the adjoining Rifflsee ski area, 68 kilometers of pistes on the best natural snow are available in winter. The runs range from easy to difficult and offer wide glacier pistes, secluded powder snow slopes and grippy firn runs for varied skiing. The Rifflsee ski area impresses with an attractive range of varied pistes - ideal for a skiing vacation for the whole family. The high altitude guarantees snow until spring.
